Day in Dallas. Part 3

Here is another adorable family I photographed on my Saturday in Dallas. OK. If I were to give an award to the most energetic and peppy and creative parents for pulling out all stops to get their baby to flash her "melt-their-heart" smile...it would be these here parents (whose wedding I did)! Do you know ALL the words to Elmo's Song? These guys do. And they had it loaded up on their phone and most likely on repeat cause I definitely heard it a lot of times. Also Dad has a funny accent he talks to her in to get her attention. Man I wish I had a video clip of the circus act going on behind me for the pics of just baby. It was FUNNY! You guys are such sweet, sweet parents. She's a lucky baby!

She looks at Mom to my left...she looks at me and closes her eyes...the she looks at Dad to my right. Thanks for the raspberry, baby!

Love how babies can shift emotion so instantly!

Day in Dallas. Part 2

Here is the second family of my Dallas photography day. Twins are always a little intimidating. But thankfully these two were pretty chill for me. I tried to keep it moving quick to keep the two one and a half year olds on their toes.
I like this one cause big brother is the focus. I am sure he has given up a lot of that with twin baby sibs.I love these pale pinkys. And I mean that as a term of endearment. Though it is hard not to over-expose their faces. After family and individual pics, Mom busted these lollipops out to buy me a little more camera time. They were a total hit with the kids.
The twins. Brother lost interest and took off on me.
But she stuck around. How sweet is this little cutie?
A sucker went down. It pretty much shattered. And these babies grabbed for the shards. Of course they went in their mouths so Mom picked up the sucker shrapnel and finger swept the twins mouths for pieces.
And this is how they felt about their mommy's actions. I have photographed these two a couple times and every session ends like this. Love it. Me. I do. They don't!

Day in Dallas. Part 1

I traveled back to Dallas and photographed a few families one Saturday. Email me and let me know if you would like to know when I will be back out that way with camera in hand.

Here is family #1 of the morning. I have been photographing this family since the oldest girl was a tiny baby. The morning was a little crisp and cool but it did not seem to bother anyone. I can not get over how good the girls were for me. They were both so smiley and happy. I told Mom to put the oldest in modeling. She just struck pose after pose after pose for me. It was making me laugh. This baby thought I was so funny. She had perma-smile on her face for 95% of our session!
While Mom fed baby sister...big sister jumped to Dad! The tounge out in every shot...love that.I was giggling at the title of this book. Girls thank you for not acting up and being on your best behavior for me!

Soon to be 4. Houston Family Photographer

What a treat to document this family of 3 before they become a family of 4. We discovered some lovely gardens for the occasion. Mom said she has never really had family pictures taken and that she wanted to hurry to get them done before little brother comes. Here are my favorites...

And for the last time...just the 3 of them!
