Sweet Little Package

My pleasure to photograph this sweet little package of a 7 day old baby girl!  Claire was just shy of 7lbs weighing in at 6lbs and 15oz.  

She sure does look like a peacefully sleeping little angel here, it almost made me forget how much time and patience and heat and hair dryer background noise and "shooshing" it took to get this here little pose.  Totally worth all that, huh Carol?

See what I mean about this little package...how cute are her little arms are still packaged in tight against her body?

And it was not too far into the session before baby was certain she was starving.  It happens every time, Mom is feeding baby as I am getting set up.  But after I handle and pose the little bundles for a bit they just get hungry!  So I grabbed big brother for a few pics while I waited.

Ok, lunch-break over!  Baby's back!  With her brother!

Claire's Mommy "true confessioned" her recent Etsy addiction.  She had a table full of accessories...tons of hairbands and blankets and diaper covers.  It would have taken me days to photograph baby in all the darling things she had collected.  

 Look who is being a bit of a wiggle worm!  And who looks kind of happy in a few of these?

Such a pretty little face.

And I finally wore her out again!
